Individualized Curriculum

Every Teach to Each student receives an initial consultation in which we determine the student's areas of mastery and particular challenges.  We provide a written educational plan which includes recommendations for further instruction and the results you can expect.

Following this initial consultation, Teach to Each offers targeted skills training and remediation in "the Three 'R's" ("reading, 'riting, and 'rithmetic") to bring your child up to grade level, followed by advanced instruction to assist your child in reaching future educational goals.  Our clients usually improve by at least one grade level in the first six months.

Learning How to Learn

Teach to Each also provides tutoring in specific courses, but our focus is on teaching children how to learn and helping them to overcome specific learning difficulties and problem areas and build fundamental skills, rather than on "homework help".  Whatever your child's educational needs, we will be pleased to work with you to craft a custom, affordable instructional plan that meets your child's needs.

In-School Sessions

School Guidance Counselors: we will be pleased to arrange on-site sessions at your school if you have multiple students in need of our services.  Please contact us to determine whether we can help you to help your students to excel.

Online Instruction

Although we consider hands-on learning and face-to-face interaction superior, we offer online instruction in exceptional circumstances.  If your child's health issues or psychological needs preclude in-person instruction, we are experienced with using online collaboration tools to help motivated students learn.  Teach to Each's clients include children with autism and children who attend WAVA: the Washington Virtual Academy online school.
